We know not everyone can jump on a big campaign and we don’t expect everyone to know how to save the world, but what we do know is that even the smallest of donations are a massive contribution towards helping shape our future.

A lot of work goes into protecting marine parks, researching and tagging animals and making sure the right codes and practices are in place to keep the ocean clean. This can also be very expensive, so your personal contribution could sometimes be enough to keep your own blue backyard or favorite beach holiday destination clean.

There are many success stories that come out of the support from the public. The first steps of the Great Barrier Reef being protected, the humpback whales numbers increasing every year, and that support and commitment is something every Australian should be very proud of.

At Our Blue Backyard we have some very worthy causes that are close to our hearts, we feel they are doing a great job looking after our marine life and coastlines.
